About This Event
Develop speed. Apply it to the game. Accel Speed Academy presents Game Speed, a girls' flag football workshop for grades 8–12.
Speed development: acceleration, sprint mechanics, deceleration and change of direction.
Football application: position-specific movement, coverage skills and game-speed transfer.
Head coach: Joey Nemet, CSCS (Accel Performance Training) — former U SPORTS football player (McMaster) and former Canadian Olympic bobsledder.
Guest coach: Eric Colonna (Pick 6 Athletics) — former U SPORTS football player (Queens).
Saturday, October 17, 12:00–2:00 PM at Assumption CSS, Burlington. $35 + HST.
